Lieutenant Colonel Brandon J. Lingle

Lt. Col. Brandon Lingle is the deputy director of the Air Force Public Affairs Agency, a field operating agency of the Secretary of the Air Force Office of Public Affairs, with more than 250 people at eight locations worldwide. He assists the director in leadership and oversight of Air Force Combat Camera operations; deploying Air Force PA contingency response teams; archiving and distributing PA products; licensing and branding Air Force trademarks; researching and establishing guidance on emerging media technologies; providing standards and evaluations guidance for PA activities; and field testing and purchasing future equipment systems. Prior to this assignment, he was the chief of public affairs at Travis AFB, California.

 

Lt. Col. Lingle has served as a public affairs officer at the base, field operating agency, and major command level. He specialized in war narratives during his graduate studies and teaching tenure with the U.S. Air Force Academy’s Department of English and Fine Arts. He’s deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of OPERATION NEW DAWN and OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM.
