Chief Master Sergeant Timothy R. Bailey is the Senior Enlisted Leader for the Air Force Public Affairs Agency (AFPAA), San Antonio, Texas. In this position, he advises the director and staff on all enlisted matters to include morale, career progression, recognition, welfare, and mission effectiveness of more than 250 enlisted personnel within the AFPAA headquarters, three diverse squadrons and three operating locations. He assists the director in providing leadership, mentorship, and combat operational support to personnel serving in print journalism, broadcast, and combat camera production and documentation roles. Chief Bailey grew up in Orlando, FL and entered the Air Force in May 1991. Throughout his career, he has worked in three different career fields, held a variety of leadership positions and has participated in several operations and exercises. Chief Bailey has deployed in direct support of Operations PROVIDE COMFORT, JOINT GUARD, PROVIDE PROMISE, NOBLE EAGLE, UNIFIED RESPONSE, ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM.
