Create Media Outreach page for Website


According to the book The New Rules of Marketing and PR by David Meerman Scott, modern reporters get their ideas via an RSS feed that autopopulates their favorite dashboard. To participate in the 21st century technology’s version of a faxed news release, create a page on the unit website that is specifically intended to help reporters find information of interest about the unit. It should include a form that allows reporters to request access to the installation or an interview with an official. See the example below.
